Cartoonish picture for a very realistic story. This was one of the most realistic survival stories I have read. Lots of good ideas for being prepared for whatever situation you might end up in. This story is not forcing you into the prepper lifestyle but it can certainly show you why you might want to make some basic preparations for our increasingly hazard prone world. Will the current virus outbreak bring down society? Maybe it will be an earthquake or hurricane. Whatever hazard you face next, it will always go better for you if you have done some basic preparation in advance. While everyone else is standing in line for the things they can’t live without (toilet paper?), you can be bugging out or locking down because you are already prepared and have a plan.
Well written and well narrated. Will definitely be looking for the next book as this story is not finished.
