Yes, everyone who fears for his/her life probably starts to pray, even if they aren’t religious to begin with. Yes, I can respect a story describing characters who are devout believers, and the book has verses of scripture at the beginning of each chapter. But when the storyline has the main character telling his limited team to make as part of the main effort to defend their home and themselves by setting up a prayer room and always manning it with someone in constant prayer, yeah that really loses the reality touch.
