A thoroughly enjoyable story. I enjoy seeing the characters evolve through each successive Apocalyptic challenge while getting to root for the survival of my favorites.
Tom does a great job of character development normally but this series of stories allows him to really flesh out the characters in a way that far exceeds what a typical author gets to do. The readers gain directly in this as each tale adds depth to each character giving us a more substantial and satisfying read.
I am really enjoying the flashback/flashforwards story line that weaves throughout each book adding an extra plot-line that broadens the tale even more. I can’t wait to see where it ends up taking me.
Each of these tales is stand alone but I would recommend you get them all – they are that good!
And believe me when I say with Kevin Pierce as the narrator the stories are that much better!
