I listen to a lot of books but don’t often review them. However, I feel compelled to put my personal two cents worth in about this one.
With difficulty, I made it through the first book only because I wanted to see the ending. The reader’s voice was hard to listen to. Very nasal. None of the characters were believable nor likable to me. There are many gratuitous and explicit sex scenes as well as very liberal use of juvenile, vulgar language all of which is not needed for a good story. I realize this is what some people want in their books; but there are still plenty of us that do not appreciate that. It would be nice if Audible or even the publishers of a book could put a disclaimer or warning on books like this. This was a waste of a credit. This was my first and last read from this author.
