Waste of a credit.

The 1st book was great. The reader is good but I am annoyed at the focus on side characters and not Ryun.

There were too many Stat Sheets! Especially when they don’t pertain to Ryun and Zac. There were many that were not needed at all. There was one that took place of a side character 700 years ago! Why did the author put it in there? It doesn’t have any relevance to the current time as that person would have gotten stronger since then. In the end I just started skipping ahead trying to get past all the stat screens.

I bought this book so I can get away from real life and listen to a good fantasy story. I was rather annoyed when real life politics made an appearance.

Overall, I am disapointed in the direction the story is going, and the focus on side characters.
