The first half of the book was insanely dull and uninteresting drug out with boring useless details on property. The story comes across as a poorly written horror/thriller that missed all the marks of eary, leaving it as a lifeless mellow drama. The voices chosen to read were no help. both were to slow I rarely listen at 1.5 speed but this one had to be on 2x. I’m not sure if it was the reading or the writing (probably a combo) that made one of the characters unbelievable she comes across having little grit or gusto yet manages great schemes?
