Books 1 & 2 were above average. Book 3 spent too much time on the gore of children dying. It felt as if the author lost their way in the story. I’ll try book 4 in hopes of a renewal.
Kevin Pierce did a fantastic job as usual. I have found I listen to books due to him, not the authors.
