Kiema is still learning how to master her powers when she finds out from a seer that she has one more mate to find. The 2 men in her life aren’t thrilled with sharing Kiema with another guy, much less someone they don’t know –

In addition to Kiema’s love life – she has gained some control over her magick and feels stronger, but IMO still behaves much like a child stomping off when she doesn’t get her own way – Perhaps JD Horn wrote Kiema this way because Kiema is somewhat under socialized –

Walking into a strong hold of her enemy and her former mother, alone is a dumb move – and Kiema does this – not the best plan, ((sarcasm)) which made me become annoyed with the character and the storyline.
