This book could have been so good but it kept falling short. I liked the characters and the different take on no electricity. Different than the typical emp event. The creatures were a good addition as well. The problem is at least 75% of the book is killing the creatures, or the creatures killing people. After the first several hours it becomes redundant. The characters were so good and the narration wasn’t too bad. Just needed more story, less creatures.
