I love litrpg, but this just isn’t one. Rpg elements like stats are mentioned occasionally but rarely seem to actually impact anything. Even after the main character has constitution at a few times higher than human average he still gets his flesh torn up by low level monsters. At no point does it seem like constitution increases physical defense, like the author says it does.

I’m more than halfway done with the book and I can count the number of times the main character’s HP has been explicitly stated on one hand. It’s always just vague statements about what percentage of health he has left after an attack.

Not to mention the magic system. There are no mention of requirements, mp or otherwise, for any of the spells. No mention of cooldowns or skill rank tiers. It’s impossible to track how effective anything is because there aren’t any metrics given to track.

This is more like just a regular adventure/romance that someone went back through to insert RPG elements into just so it’d qualify for the litRPG genre. I’ll finish it because I bought it but if you’re looking for litRPG, you should probably look elsewhere
