Groundhog’s Day type time loop, but everyone trying to kill the MC.

The main character tries to get creative with every bad guy coming at him. And it *is* creative. Every few minutes there’s a fun bit of wordplay, actually clever pop-culture or a joke that works. Meanwhile, non-stop action in an inescapable Noir world where all almost all the characters want to kill the MC, and often succeed.

Then the loop starts again, and Morning Assassin will arrive soon.

As usual, Jeff Hays is absolutely amazing.

The main character is fun. The villains are good. Lots of action.
