I have a lot of joys in my life and one of them is Jake Bible. Any time I settle into a Jake Bible listen, I know I’m in for a really, really, really good time. This fourth book in the Roak series was a treasure trove of good times. It was filled with action and adventure. There was a mysterious figure in the midst. There was an intense mystery to solve. There were new beings to befriend (sorta.) I. Want. More.
Andrew Wehrlen can do no wrong in this series. He is Roak. Which is no small feat when you consider all that Roak is tasked with doing. An intergalactic bounty hunter is no joke. Wehrlen delivers Roak in all of his complexities.
This was a complete listen but it set the stage for an incredible book five. I can’t wait.
