I’m a vocal snob. I can’t stand listening to certain narrators because their vocal choices are either blasé, they are too nasal, or they have no vocal dynamic to the way they speak. That is not the case here with Mikael Naramore. The cadence and tambour of his voice are relaxing and engaging. The character diversity, the vocal choices for female characters, and overall story telling are what make me love this author. This is the second series of J. S. Morin that I’ve listened to and I will definitely be searching for the third series (so long as it has Naramore’s talented vocal qualities reading it).
