Villain’s Pride is the second installment of the series. Though fairly short, the book attempts to define a new genre of villainy that goes beyond anti-hero/anti-villain. The protagonist is a true representation of lawful neutral, boardering on chaotic. Full of self-awareness and self-cynisim, this book is pure entertainment from start to finish. I would have rated it 4 starts for the creativity of the ending, but the narrator becoming involved in the story tickled my fancy. I would recommend this book to anyone who has watched Cabin in the Woods and appreciates genre bending, self-aware commentary.
