Do no mistake me I enjoy this series and have listened to all three currently out books. But do not go into this book expecting an anti hero someone who commits less than conventionally good acts for a good reason. This man commits acts that are less than scrupulous for solely self serving and selfish reasons.
That said I believe the character fits the story and back story his reasoning follows what a human in his situation would likely follow. He is a self important manipulating rich scion with pride issues. If you are looking for a good book not based on conventional morals this is the book for you. my review is based off of all three books up until this point.
