Having read “Mistakes Were Made” first, my expectations coming into this book were very high. The writing of course was excellent as I knew it would be, but the level of spice couldn’t be further apart. I’ll happily still give this one five stars, I’m not willing to punish the author or narrators for my own unfair expectations, but if someone in my situation comes in wanting spicy scenes early and often, you won’t find them here.
