Like the author I believe I enjoyed this one more than the first. Deanna is very gritty and sometimes I forget, even with her constant reminder of wanting to kill people, that she is so unpredictably dangerous.
It was definitely difficult to be in the mindset of Marcus. But even so I appreciate the insight. He was really disturbing in his thinking and the actions taken on his victims.
This is just a very unique tale. I like all the aspects of it. How she has secluded herself and is trying to figure out what normalcy is. I also like her boyfriend but is it just me or does anyone else want her to bump into her psychiatrist? She is such a cute little kitten who when provoked turns into a wildcat and tears your face off. Definitely doesn’t take any lip. I like how someone of her stature and profession is in control.
Interested in where Deanne will go from here. I’m not certain she can pull of a normal life. She does knows right and wrong….. somtimes.
