Very sweet, not sugary.

Such a good book… the characters are all so colorful and real, as if they exist off the page in truth. The story has a streak of unbelievability but at the same time is perfectly plausible. There is such depth to each personality and back story that it all works beautifully. I knew these people, all of them.

And the narrators performance was sheer perfection!
