Two seemingly attractive men who are perfect for one another? Not everything is perfect, as is the way of life but they make it work and complete eachother, helping one another repair what’s broken inside.

It was a realistic story of love, loss, grief and a second chance. I feel like the author dealt with the emotions of one of the main characters very well, in terms of loss and grief. The two characters complemented one another quite well, more so than the previous couple and I didn’t feel that squicky feeling I got with certain themes from the previous story in the series.

The story was balanced with both adventure and sweetness as well as a satisfying amount of spicy scenes.

Austin Jay did a great job with the narration! Crisp and clear voice, appropriate tones throughout and precise spacing between lines and dialogue and so on. This narrator brings a special something to this story that most other narrators cannot. I would level this narrator with the greats like Joel Leslie, Greg Boudreaux, Iggy Toma, Alexandra cendese, Tor Thom, etc.
