I got this because I had an over abundance of audible credits and it was well reviewed.
The narrator has a lovely engaging way of speaking and I powered through the book in one sitting easily.
However, as it is 90% cards and meanings (I wasn’t expecting this balance) it can be hard to follow. This was especially true when there were mistakes in the reading. eg, the “5 of wands” was accidentally slipped in during the 4 of wands description and “King” was said instead of “Queen” in the cups section. Both of these times causing me to go back to make sure I hadn’t zoned out. And to be honest if I wasn’t familiar with the cards I may not have noticed and would have retained some jumbled info.
I think in paper form this would be a lovely book to refer back to as a guide, I liked the framing of cards in different settings (general, career, romance, etc)
This is definitely a 101 class and should be read early in the Tarot journey! Easily digestible info for a quick lesson
