I loved seeing how the same characters from Ash dealt with this different apocalyptic scenario. I’m used to reading series, so it’s a different mindset for me to have this story be a stand alone (within this setting anyway), but I’m enjoying it and look forward to seeing how this premise develops. If you think about it, it makes sense that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and therefore, would have a better skill set for certain disasters over others. Tom Abraham’s does a great job expanding on the characters’ personalities; I saw some of them in a new light and have a better grasp of who they are now. With Lit centering around various fires creating numerous emergency situations, there is plenty of action and movie pieces that kept me listening straight through. Kevin Pierce does a fantastic job portraying the emotions of the book throughout his performance. He creates a tone of suspense, fear and shock, when appropriate, adding to the way the story resonates with you.
