I don’t do much mafia fiction but tried this one on a whim, expecting it to be cheesy but perhaps interesting enough to pass time.
What I got was a complete mafia melodrama with every twist and turn I never thought of. I didn’t read the preceding series about the parents so perhaps I have an open perspective.
But the book had very interesting characters, was very fun and funny, and had a good balance of pulp fiction violence and steamy sex scenes.
There were a lot of characters to keep straight, so I had to re-listen to a couple of chapters, and the book has an actual plot requiring one to pay attention.
Phenomenal narration!!
