Very good Resnick story..

This was a good Jon Resnick book but I’m not real crazy about his daughter, Lauren. Or maybe it’s just the way her words were written and then spoken by the narrator. There was something very arrogant and smug about her.

Overall, it was a good story about a killer who was definitely a psychopath and it took a while for Jon to realize the bad guy was really after him.

A touch of romance and the F-bomb was used 90 times.

As for the narration: Jeffrey Kafer isn’t a very good narrator. All the women sound like men and all the men sound just alike. AND he reads without emotion. C’mon, JK, it’s 2021! Time to learn how to be a better narrator.
