Very good. Unlike the series Alterworld, the pace was slow and realistic. You get a lot of hours of book for your Audible credit, but remember some of that is the repetitive narration of what the ‘on screen’ messages are. Narration was well done, voices were good characterizations. The plot was very good, it made me wonder if the author is involved in MMO game design. Clearly a fan of MMO’s for sure. I’m more of a fan of LitRPG: Tabletop RPG books (such as Critical Failures, NPC’s, and so on), but very much enjoyed this book, and am immediately going to the Audible store in hopes that the second in the series has been released. Some innovative and creative story ideas are in this book, which is refreshing in the LitRPG genre.
