First thing I would like to say is that for everyone giving bad reviews because of the religious aspect, you should be ashamed. Mark being a Christian does not mean his writing is bad. These books are written excellently and if you don’t appreciate the Christianity within, then get a refund of your credits don’t defame the author. That is ridiculous.
I will be the first to say that I was a little apprehensive because the reviews mentioned Mark’s religious mentions. However, being a Christian myself the only thing I was not entirely happy with was the lack of cussing. Just because I spent a lot of time in the army and in combat, I cuss just about every other word. With this genre it is normally expected and one would assume the lack thereof would take away from the content. It does not. This series is heartbreaking as it indicates what our world is coming to. The demonizing of religious beliefs and the constant praise of widespread sin in our world is sickening. Mark received an email from me directly about this series, I hope he reads it. I told him this same stuff. I praised his skill and his devotion to Christ in his writing. It can be easy to relate when you have experienced the protection of God in the worst things man has to offer (war). I highly recommend this series. Even if you are an atheist maybe use this to better your understanding of people who believe in Jesus Christ.
