This series has been tremendously fun to listen to. Jeffrey Kafer truly embraces his role as Merciless/Gary, as evidenced during this story’s intro. The intro may have tainted the story slightly though. While it explains how the story was written, scrapped, then rewritten into its present form, it also makes the meeting of some of the new characters seem slightly contrived. Without that early tidbit the story may have had better flow. Still, it is really funny and the ending leaves another book as a demanding to be written. Please give us at least one more Mr. Phipps!
