If you’ve listened to the first 2 books and been annoyed at how often the mc beats himself up over what happened to his wife (NOT a spoiler, I promise) you’ll be happy to know that there’s been a lot less of that in this book.
Overall this book has been a great distraction while doing chores, running errands, and walking the dog. In terms of learning new things to survive a shtf situation, the only useful info is what NOT to do if you want to survive. I find myself yelling out loud on a regular basis at the main characters for their stupid decisions. But I guess that means that I’m pretty hooked on the story and care a great deal about the survival of the characters, so obviously author did something right. I just wish these characters would stop being such morons.
