I preferred girl in pieces, the story itself kept me more rapt and hit me personally in the gut. This one took me a little longer to listen to, not for lack of experience of loss and grief. However, I’m bawling my eyes out for the last 2 hours of the book so… anyone who has experienced deep loss will most definately resonate with everything tiger feels, and we all should have our eyes open to the state systems, foster care, and all the youth/children who fall into the cracks. Ms. Glasgow has fast become one of my favorite authors 2 books in.
