I wanted to like this book, I really did.
My issues with the book:
**The main character is an idiot.
**The plot line is weak.
**The main character (MC) proposes to be one of the top players in the game. AND he is a programmer. And he’s too stupid to realize game logic.
**Time crunching for the MC is just plain stupid.
**The exposition dumps are too much. At least try to wrap exposition dumps into something that’s easy to digest.
**Inconsistent game mechanics.
There are so many things wrong, but I don’t want to give too much away.
I think this book works well for teen and young adult readers.
