I listened to these three books because I really enjoyed the cradle series. but the reason I listen to or read books is to escape reality and enjoy an adventure. these were some of the most depressing stories I’ve ever heard. doesn’t matter if he comes back to life. everything is ruined for him like a whipped , beaten , and abused animal.
