Interesting take on an old mythic creature. Great for captivating the reader in a clostrophobic environment along and bringing added terror into an already terrifying situation. Some fun twists kept it interesting.

The narrator was fitting, soldier-like voice (not great for sitting back relaxing, but suitable for the story context).
