don’t waste your time beyond book 1. that’s the most engaging and enjoyable the series will b3. book 2 poorly hops between Protagonist and Antagonist while playing the stereotypical businessman-has-power-abd-pretends-to-harness-for-the-greater-good shtick. it’s not even a well narrated (not on Soundbooth but storytelling) turn of evil, just a boring no-name character from the epilogue pops up as this sudden genius who now uses slaves as their Horde army to force a war between people 🙄 overused, poorlywritten, abysmally executed. save your money and leave this at book one, it’s a better world that way…and you’re not disappointed when the author falls flat for a writing deadline.
