Ingest blood, fine, no problem. The frequent references to drinking oil made me a little queasy. They didn’t work as a couple for me. For some reason, I never connected with the characters; perhaps it was the squabbling. These had to be some of the most unsexy vampires ever. The paintings were intriguing and the book cover was very well done. The narration was excellent.
