Originally, I liked the series (probably would read the remaining), but the obvious is not perceived and the in obvious is quickly mastered. Just doesnt read realistic at all. There is a psychological element that seeks to astound the reader but doesnt accomplish its premise, imo. Jason isnt strong…he waffles at every real decision….and who cares about a game when facing a “trial”. The fact that his aunt is happy living on Jason’s welfare is also ridiculous. She seems caring and has a good job…wouldnt she be able find housing? Also…Riley’s role is maddening….she is playing a game with a real life murderer and has no goals of her own? Bahh!
