Run-of-the-mill apocalyptic prepper book, with a heavy dose of right-wing propaganda. Despite the Author’s justification of it in the Afterword, the book awkwardly jams in character’s thoughts on POTUS Donald Trump. The political commentary didn’t add anything to the character development, it just comes across as the Author trying to push political beliefs. It’s out of place in the book and unnecessary. Overall though, pretty blah, I won’t be moving on to the next book in the series. The only good part was the Narrator, he was good.
