a while I get it that both melody and Liam are damaged. psychologically, the basic fact is they don’t have a lot of redeeming qualities for evil people. I understand the attraction of sociopaths, but I didn’t find the two of them, especially attractive. The sex scenes are very well written, and the narration is beautiful. The rest of it was just me waiting for some sense of there being a reason to actually care about these characters.
