There is good and bad in this book. First the good: the audiobook narration, sound effects and performance is excellent. The story line is fresh and the main character being a crafter, made the problem solving fun and clever in a MacGyver kind of way.
Now for the bad: the main character is an immature, selfish, whinny, sniveling “poor me” person through most of the book. The main character flaws were too deep and went on for too long. It ruined an otherwise really good story with good supporting characters. The main character finally makes a turn for the better in the 11th hour, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one star for the story.
