I like that this book did not recite common self-help viewpoints on anger. He speaks about anger, sounds counterintuitive initially, but backs it up with Scripture and explanation. He won me over to his way of thinking more than he lost me. My biggest critique is how repetitive it is. He says the same thing – not throughout the book – but back-to-back-to-back in different ways. Sometimes it helps drive the point home, but often it made me lose focus. I had to back the book up more than 10 times after realizing I hadn’t been listening. Overall, this is one of the better books on anger.
