Once again I’m excited to listen to an audible book with such great reviews and once again I’m disappointed by the narration of Joel. The characters in this book you would expect to have a masculinity to them in the form of a firm, husky,dare I say sexy voice. Meanwhile Joel’s voice is not only shaky but it’s also very feminine. His reading I find to be over exaggerated, so rather than relaxing in the tub listening to my book as I usually do, I find myself cringing. Yes people it’s that bad. This is my second try at listening to a Joel narration, now I know I must avoid all books that star Mr. Leslie.
