Although the story itself is engaging, I couldn’t get past the narrator. Just a terrible choice for this genre. He would be excellent reading a bedtime story because he has that gentle, soothing grandpa voice. Mad Mick is not a gentle grandpa! The inflection was off, the tone was all wrong; just too irritating. It was ruining the story for me. I returned it and got the Kindle version – which has been much better.
