Flat out this book was weak in all ways. I read in the authors blog that the beta readers felt this was the best. Get new ones they lied. This story is absolutely half done. And too bad you have to wait till mid next year to get the other half you paid with this book for more money. (But that may be a stretch as much of this was focused on yerrin as will the next book judging by the name) I got into the series due to lindon not some love story or yerrin. Much like other recent releases by other authors, this book seemed like a set up/ cash grab with a sappy relationship bs that makes the MC forget all he as done or can do but winge and whine. So much wasted on things that don’t matter and little on what does. So many details only to be forgotten or in some cases you omit important story lines ie the veggie wrap convo. Why introduce something in a book that is already short only to not use it again like the multi palm black dragon etc…. ?? MC turns in to jello what is with writing weak MC’s. I srsly want to understand how you take someone who has seen as much as him to constantly turn to dithering idiot. Then there the last chapters. You phoned that in Will almost to the point I wanted my money back.
I have a single pet peeve that sets me off to no end. Do not waste my time. And this was a waste of time and money.
The bloopers showed more focus than the entire book tbh.
I even preordered this ….. not doing that again.
I will get the next one as the series amazing but if it is like this one I am done and will walk away. I am writing off this expense as a gift to Travis. May he always get paid.
