First, this is another unfinished story, ending in a near cliffhanger. This story differs slightly from the usual formula for dystopian fiction in that it’s set two years after an EMP has shut down the nation’s power grid. Unfortunately, the potential this setting affords the story is not realized. It’s just more of the same tiresome scenario. Moreover, the characters aren’t particularly likable or believable.

Kevin Pierce performs well. I just wish there was enough story for me to evaluate it properly.
