I will admit upfront that this type of romance is not my cup of tea- at all. So the fact that I enjoyed this story so much and even found it- dare I say SEXY- came as an unexpected surprise. Zylar (the alien) is just adorable and so likeable! Beryl is kick ass & fun & takes whatever comes her way like a champ! And Snaps??? A talking dog? Amazing & also hilarious. This is true interspecies alien love so yes, its kind of weird. It could be off putting to some. But because the characters are honestly so lovely, the love scenes (while incredibly STRANGE *get it*) are also sweet and SEXY. I loved this book so much I bought it in print.
