I was weary going into this book. I read reviews and wasn’t sure what to think. It didn’t take me a while to get into because it was slow, but because it was methodically planned out. I had a connection to wavy’s story from the get go. I loved her love for Kellan, and Donal. It was a long, devastating read, but so worth it. It really took you through every journey, high and low. I love that it took a tragic story of a girl, and turned it into a beautiful story of not only just love, but how powerful love in general is. Not about her being saved, or saving someone, but persevering in the name of every single thing she loved. And not wanting an ounce of recognition. This story was brilliant and beautiful. My first book I’ve read by Bryn. And it certainly won’t be my last.
