This didn’t feel up to the author’s usual work. The characters are uneven and feel roughly sketched. In fact the whole book feels like a rough draft for a series without the details. There is nothing really new here. At least there are no zombies.

Andrew B. Wehrlen narrates well and does a solid job on this uneven book.
