Oh my goodness! I thought the main character was a blatant “Gary Stu” in the first book – it’s even worse in this one! Not only can he do no wrong on the ship and in trading, he’s now God’s gift to women, as well. The sex scenes sounded like bad soft core porn, and clearly were wish-fulfillment by the author, who appears to have a 15 year old boy’s view of women and sex. It was laughable! It’s too bad, because there were other parts of the book that I liked, but I don’t think I can handle more of this character. So I won’t continue with this series. Life is too short for mediocre books.
