I can’t get past the age thing. this book needs a trigger warning for the inappropriate relationship. narrator was great. writing in general was good. ruined by the yuck feeling about the older man and young kid thing. there is no “keep an open mind” when it comes to this which sucks because I liked the rest aside from that particular aspect of the story.
