I love R.C Bray and will listen to just about anything he performs. He should have taken a hard pass on this book. The 1st half of the book is great. The title tells you what the book is going to be about and I enjoyed the premise of people being killed and studied because a person thinks they are NPC’s. About 1/3 into the book though the NPC’s are being “changed” by the killer and are being turned into his “assistants”. Then God send a faceless something to try to kill the killer only to have the killer saved by his changed victim assistants.?? Really? Too much too fast too far. Can you say refund?
