I’m actually in the middle of one of the author’s other works right now, and took a break from that to listen to this one. The other one is no comparison. While it would benefit from being more fleshed out, There’s enough there to be good. It started out kind of slow, with several character deaths for no apparent reason. There’s a lot in the book that could benefit from a more thorough explanation. However, getting further into this one, it becomes a creepy, twisted tale of clowns gone bad. It turns out to be a fun, short listen. I won’t say it it’s going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but for a short, punchy horror story, you could do a lot worse.
