The narration of this story is amazing. However, I couldn’t finish it. I normally have a VERY strong stomach, but the perspective of the killer was just too horrible for me, and the detailed descriptions of animal mutilation are what pushed it over the edge for me. Animal mutilation is something I can’t do. I respect the idea of doing the story from the killer’s perspective, but it just wasn’t for me. I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing because I wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d known about the loads of animal mutilation in it. Unfortunately I have canceled my audible account for now so I can’t return it, but once I reinstate my account I will be returning this book.
